The purpose of the Regimental Advisory Committee is to support the objects of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment within the community and to foster a general public awareness and commemoration of its history and its heritage.

The Council is a volunteer non-profit organization consisting of current and retired  members of the Regiment, and interested citizens of the community.

The Regimental Advisory Council, or RAC, serves as an independent interface between the current Regiment and the community of Newfoundland and Labrador, and strives to provide assistance to the Regiment from its home community when this is needed. The RAC also fosters the pride of the community in the history of the Regiment.
